Biography

Michelle Beltrano is principal and founder of the firm.  Beltrano Law has practice areas in elder law, health law, estate planning, special needs, probate matters and estate administration.  Michelle understands the unique challenges individuals and families face in today's complex long term care environment.  She represents clients on various matters ranging from involuntary conservatorship proceedings to complex estate administration.

In addition to representing individuals and businesses, Michelle also provides robust legal representation to families who are dealing with complex situations including conservatorships, will contests, trust administration, caregiver issues, Medicare/Medicaid Eligibility and Long Term Care Planning. She understands how difficult it can be to know what to do when your parent or spouse becomes mentally incapacitated and is no longer able to make his or her own medical or financial decisions.  Michelle can also appreciate how many sons and daughters feel "sandwiched" between caring for their parents and caring for their own children and families.

Providing individualized and personal concierge service, Michelle develops legal strategies to best fit your situation. With her extensive nursing experience, she can also advise clients through the end-of-life process while also focusing on their best legal interests.  Michelle also provides special needs planning for children and adults who face physical and developmental challenges and require long term legal protections.

Michelle possesses a Juris Doctor from Pace University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Eastern Michigan University.  She currently serves as Co-Vice President on the Board of Directors of At Home in Greenwich and regularly speaks to the local community on elder care topics and related legal issues.
